A Ring of Elden player has shared a satisfying video of them defeating a cheating opponent in the game’s PvP mode. Ring of Elden has been out for several months and is still among the best-selling games in many countries. It’s one of the most critically acclaimed titles of the year, and people expect it to challenge God of War Ragnarok for Game of the Year. Ring of Elden has many commendable features like its narrative, exploration, game design and multiplayer mode.
Players can choose from three multiplayer modes in Ring of Elden, but the most popular is PvP, where they can test their combat skills against other players. Build a character in Ring of Elden and battling other builds is one of its biggest selling points. Of course, most Ring of Elden PvP combat is exciting and random, as mage players often find themselves facing melee, bleed, or another mage build. Unfortunately, some Ring of Elden players are using questionable methods in these PvP fights, as one Reddit user discovered.
Reddit user SmairAI uploaded a video that shows his encounter with a cheater Ring of Elden player. SmairAI invaded another player’s world and engaged in a duel to see who was the best fighter. Suddenly, the Host of the Fingers becomes overly aggressive and hits the user with successive magic attacks, including the devastating sorcery Rancorcall in Ring of Elden. This attack can be considered overpowered as it chases the target and deals heavy damage while having minimal stat requirements. The video shows the adversary possibly using a suspicious technique to attack the original poster, as they performed multiple magical assaults simultaneously, with the previously mentioned sorcery.
Naturally, SmairAI retreats into a defensive position behind a wall to avoid the Host’s barrage of attacks. The Host follows them into the building which also has an elevator inside, still casting spells at an unimaginable rate. Suddenly the player goes on the offensive and lands a few hits on the opponent when using Bloodhound’s Step skill in Ring of Elden. However, this placed them dangerously close to the elevator shaft. The original poster ran towards them, but they both accidentally fell into the well, dying instantly.
SmairAI’s video shows how Ring of Elden players can often use cheats to gain the upper hand in a battle. Still, some cheating players, like the one seen above, fail to win a PvP fight, thanks to the awareness of players like SmairAI.
Ring of Elden is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
