All the free games you can get in December 2022

As stated above, we will be reviewing the following platforms and services for all free games that will be available this month:

  • Xbox Game Pass
  • Xbox games with gold
  • PSMore
  • First game
  • Epic Games Store
  • Free Games on Steam and Mobile

Besides the free PC and mobile versions, the rest of these titles will be time-limited, meaning you can only claim them this month before the deal expires. So if you’re a Game Pass, PS Plus, or Prime subscriber, be sure to claim them soon before you miss out on this opportunity.

Xbox games with gold

colt canyon

Not many enticing offerings here if we’re being honest, but if you’re a Gold subscriber and fancy a decent 2D side-scroller steeped in Chinese mythology, Bladed Fury might be a decent pick-up. It offers fun, high-octane combat with plenty of old enemy and boss patterns to discover.

Colt Canyon is also up for grabs, which could make for a good weekend spaghetti western adventure.

Xbox Game Pass

to the east
  • To the east
  • Totally reliable delivery service
  • The Walking Dead: The Final Season
  • hello neighbor 2
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Chained echoes
  • Metal: Hellsinger
  • Raised on life
  • potion crafting
  • Rainbow Billy: Curse of the Leviathan

On the other hand, Microsoft’s other great subscription service continues to offer some of the best value for money you can get in gaming right now.

Some big hits like Eastward, The Walking Dead and Metal: Hellsinger are added to the lineup this month. We highly recommend checking out Metal: Hellsinger if you’re a subscriber, and if you’re a Rick and Morty fan, High On Life is also worth checking out. The humor and writing won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s okay to give it a shot.

December 2022 is also shaping up to be a pretty decent month for PS Plus subscribers, with Far Cry and Middle-earth games being the big highlights here. The only downside is that these games are only for PS Plus Extra and Premium members, so you must already have shelled out some money on your subscription to be able to download them.

First game

  • Dishonored 2
  • metal slug
  • Metal Slug X
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury
  • SNK: 40th Anniversary Collection
  • The King of Fighters 2003
  • The Last Blade
  • The Last Blade 2
  • Twinkle star sprites

Prime Gaming has some great choices here for all sorts of gamers. Obviously, the biggest title here would be Dishonored 2, which is widely regarded as one of Arkane’s best games. It features a wonderful blend of stealth and action combat, as well as an immersive and captivating story to get lost in.

It’s also Metal Slug month here, as there are no less than three Metal Slug games up for grabs, which should make for a great co-op session.

Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has also stepped up its game in terms of free monthly offers, and for December 2022, they will be giving away 15 free games from December 15 to December 29. So far only Bloons TD 6 has been revealed, which is already a solid pickup on its own, but we’ll have to wait and see what the other games are up to.

It does it for all the free games you can get this month. Be sure to search emagtrends for more gaming related coverage and news.
