Best NFL Week 17 games: Saints-Eagles, Dolphins-Patriots, more

Week 17 of NFL the season continues on Sunday with a full slate — and we’ve got you covered from start to finish!

The playoff picture will become clearer in the penultimate week of the regular season, as several teams finally look to secure their playoff tickets.

Here are the best Sunday games!

New Orleans Saints vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Taysom’s Hour

The Eagles knew it was coming. They couldn’t do anything about it either. Saints Swiss Army knife Taysom Hill pulled out the shotgun before heading into the end zone for the game opener.

Cleveland Browns to Washington Commanders

Choice of litter

Offense has been hard to come by between the Browns and COs as quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Carson Wentz continue to struggle. Cleveland safety Grant Delpit didn’t help that cause, intercepting a Wentz downfield uprising for his team’s second takeout of the day.

Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A new day for Darnold?

Sam Darnold has looked like a different quarterback this season. That continued in the first quarter on Sunday, when he teamed up with Tommy Tremble for a 17-yard touchdown.

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

Quick movements

The Bears and Lions are locked in a back-and-forth affair. D’Andre Swift is the last to strike, running for a 17-yard run to give Detorit a 14-10 second quarter lead.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons

This is the McBride

Rookie tight end Trey McBride has come as a pleasant surprise in recent weeks for the Cardinals. On Sunday, he scored his first career TD.

Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots

Boil!

Tyreek Hill turning that back pass into a touchdown was impressive. But his celebration was even more so.

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Mahomes hits… Mahomes

Isiah Pacheco got the Chiefs on the board with a short TD run. But the big highlight came early thanks to Patrick Mahomes (with an assist from the Broncos defense). The presumptive MVP inadvertently completed a pass to himself and, sure enough, turned it into a 6-yard gain.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans

jaguar speed

Once Travis Etienne got through the second tier, he was gone. His 62-yard TD helped Jacksonville take an early 21-0 lead.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Giants

Dimes and Dashes

Daniel Jones has already thrown a pair of TD passes. But his best play was that 13-yard run. He seemed to go further but he went out of bounds. Either way, it set New York’s second tally.
