Warzone 2 clip shows player respawning while fighting in the Gulag

A bizarre clip from Call of Duty: Warzone 2 highlights a possible Gulag glitch as a player respawns in Al Mazrah before returning to 2v2 battle.

A Call of Duty: Warzone 2 The player cut a weird moment in the Gulag during which he briefly reappears on the Al Mazrah map. Every big war zone The launch offered its own spin on the Gulag, with the original being in a prison toilet and the later being in a courtyard, but it looks like players can accidentally trigger a respawn in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

A Reddit user shared a video of his particular problem when respawning before concluding a Gulag match which has since gone viral through various Call of Duty: Warzone 2 canals. As Activision continues to improve Call of Duty: Warzone 2 while releasing various fixes for each game mode, the aforementioned respawn might be a thing of the past in a future update.

Reddit user Dowy created a video of their Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Gulag battle that started normally but was cut short by an early respawn that interrupted gameplay. Dowy’s clip begins by showing a bird’s eye view of the Gulag map before showing the two allied fighters and counting down from five to surrender control to the soldiers on the small battlefield. The bell rings to start the fight, and the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 the player sprints to the left side of the map and scales a half wall to throw their frag grenade and get a better view of their enemy, retreating behind pallets after being shot multiple times.

Going back and forth several times to a concrete column next to the pallets in the Gulag, the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 the player begins to experience frame issues seemingly due to lag before their character is suddenly transported to the Al Mazrah map as it falls from the sky. Before he can fire his parachute and land safely on the much larger battle royale map, the soldier is quickly sent back to the Gulag only to be killed as the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 The NPC Jailer appears in the yard. Because Dowy was the only remaining soldier of his Gulag team during this defeat, the enemy was able to take advantage of the glitchy moment to earn a proper respawn.

Although Dowy attributes the loss of the Gulag to the lag they experienced just before their untimely Call of Duty: Warzone 2 respawn, the problem may be due to several factors. Since the video was limited to Dowy’s point of view, one of the winners of war zone 2‘s Gulag 2v2 may have won after he unwittingly got lucky with his opponent’s misfortune.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
